"22 Weeks"

From World News Daily

A movie based on the true story reported by WND of a woman trapped in the bathroom of an abortion clinic watching helplessly as her baby died after being born alive is being released to an increasing number of audiences, including the U.S. Congress.

The film, as WND reported, is called "22weeks," made by a young Puerto Rican filmmaker, Ángel Manuel Soto Vázquez. It has been shown to private audiences, screened in Puerto Rico, viewed on Capitol Hill and is now scheduled for two more public screenings this week, in Virginia Beach, Va., and San Diego, Calif.

Soto Vázquez told WND that one of the most important audiences – the actual mother depicted in the film – has already seen it and approves.
"Baby Rowan's mom saw it and felt like it was accurate, professional, and sensitive to her, her children and women around the world who have suffered and lived through this," said Soto Vázquez. "That was my biggest joy, knowing that I did justice to her and to the story."

Pro-life activist and WND columnist Jill Stanek agreed that the short 25-minute film was well acted and professionally produced. She was also stunned.

"I know the mom," Stanek told WND. "When I saw the movie, I always had empathy for her, but when I saw the mom holding her little baby in the bathroom dying, I had a new sense of understanding. I felt her despair. I was traumatized for her. It's definitely effective."

Soto Vázquez told WND U.S. Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., also saw the film, "loved it," and is now hoping to organize a full congressional screening on Jan. 22, the anniversary of the Supreme Court's Roe v. Wade decision, which allows abortions through all nine months of pregnancy.

The film, with promotional pages on MySpace and Facebook, describes the movie on its homepage:

A young woman is locked in the bathroom of an abortion clinic after her aborted baby was born alive. A film about decisions, their effects and the echos [sic] they leave behind. Based on the shocking WorldNetDaily article by Ron Strom, on victim's testimonies, and real 911 calls about one of the most controversial subjects of our time, "22weeks" achieves to confront both sides of the spectrum and their perspective to the on going [sic] question: "what would you do?"

The film's MySpace page adds, "This is the shocking true story about the reality behind abortion and the heroic struggle of a mother willing to do anything to save her child."

The mother in the true story, identified only as Angele, since she has asked her last name not be used, was scheduled to have her 22-week pregnancy ended at the EPOC Clinic of Orlando Women's Center in Orlando, Fla. Instead, Angele told WND, she delivered the baby alive in a restroom at the clinic and said her cries for help went unheeded by the medical staff, even when an employee saw that the tiny boy was moving.

Angele said she ran to a phone outside the clinic to call a friend for help, then curled up with her son for the full 11 minutes of his short life after birth. She bathed the baby, whom she named Rowan, and cut his umbilical cord. After medical staff demanded she surrender her son's body, she blocked the door to keep them away and stayed trapped in the bathroom, praying and weeping, until the police arrived, she said.
Soto Vázquez told WND the film isn't a pro-choice or pro-life agenda film, but rather the telling of a true story that allows audiences to reach their own conclusions.

"Even though the movie doesn't take any side, the way I show it, I show both sides of the spectrum on the issue of abortion," Soto Vázquez said. "I just let the spectator decide which side he's going to take from the story, because it's based on a true story."

He said it's a movie "about a woman who decides to get an abortion, and she gets an abortion. But it's also the story of a woman who, after she gets the abortion, realizes what she has done when she has that mother-son connection."

Jill Stanek warned WND that the movie is so powerful that some people may not believe it could possibly be based on a true story.

"Some people just aren't going to believe it," she said, "but this actually did happen, and this is not the only mother that I'm aware of who had a similar experience of aborting her baby and then when the baby was born alive having an instant change of heart, wanting everything done for her baby, and her baby dying. This is not something that doesn't happen. It's not isolated."

Now Stanek hopes the film will educate the public about late-term abortions.

"There's a segment of the population that I hope comes to grips with what they've just tolerated all this time. They don't realize how far it has come," Stanek told WND. "I've actually held a baby that was shelved to die because he was aborted – now we're talking about infanticide."

"22weeks" will be shown at 3 p.m. at Ken Cinema in San Diego, Calif., on October 31. Future screenings, Soto Vázquez said, are planned in Kansas City, Dallas, and Los Angeles.

The film's website, www.22weeksthemovie.com, has also added a feature in which people can enter a request that the movie come to their area.

5 Non-negotiable Issues For Voting

Abortion
Euthanasia
Embryonic Stem Cell Research
Human Cloning
Homosexual Marriage

These five current issues concern actions that are intrinsically evil and must never be promoted by the law.
Intrinsically evil actions are those which fundamentally conflict with God's law and can never be deliberately performed under any circumstances.

1. Do not just vote based on your political party affiliation, your earlier voting habits, or your family's voting tradition.
2. Do not cast your vote on the candidates' appearance, personality or "media savvy."
3. Do not vote for candidates simply because they declare themselves to be Christian.
4. Do not choose among candidates based on "What's in it for me?"
5. Do not vote for candidates who are right on lesser issues but who will vote wrongly on key moral issues.

For Your Discernment
WHEN I SHED MY LAST TEAR

SOON, MY DEAR CHILDREN, MY WORDS WILL BE ENDING,
AND YOU’LL WITNESS EVENTS THAT TILL NOW HAVE BEEN PENDING.
MY SON HAS BEEN TRYING TO GATHER HIS FLOCK,
BUT NOT MANY HAVE ANSWERED WHEN AT THEIR DOOR HE DID KNOCK.

HOW CAN MANKIND EXPECT TO BE BY GOD DEFENDED
IF GOD CONTINUES EACH DAY TO BE BY MANKIND OFFENDED?
MANY TIMES I HAVE SPOKEN AND I SHED MANY TEARS,
BUT MY MESSAGE HAS FAILED TO REACH THOSE WITH DEAF EARS.

THIS EARTH, MY DEAR CHILDREN, GOD’S SWORD SOON WILL CLEANSE
REMOVING ALL STAIN FROM EVERY OFFENSE.
THIS EARTH HAS BECOME A REFLECTION OF HELL,
AND GOD WILL NOT ALLOW HERE ALL THE DEMONS TO DWELL.

YOU WILL SOON FEEL THE EARTH SHAKE AND SEE FLAMES RAGE THROUGHOUT;
THOUGH THE WATERS WILL RISE, THEY WILL NOT PUT THEM OUT.
THOSE WHO REMAIN FAITHFUL WILL BE SPARED FROM GOD’S WRATH
AS LONG AS THEY TRUST GOD AND STRAY NOT FROM HIS PATH.

“THY WILL BE DONE”

If The Upcoming Elections Are The Match, Who Will Put Out The Fire?

This poetic verse was posted on The Jesus, Mary, Joseph Website on October 5, 2008:

AS THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION IS NOW QUICKLY APPROACHING,
SO ARE THE FLAMES WHICH WILL BE YOUR COUNTRY TORCHING.
IN SPITE OF MAKING THE CHANGES WHICH GOD DID DESIRE,
YOU FOLLOW SATAN’S PLAN, WHICH HE DID CONSPIRE.

THE ONE WHO’S PREPARING TO LEAD THIS COUNTRY
HAS BEEN TRAINED AND ENDORSED BY MY ADVERSARY.
THIS ELECTION YOUR COUNTRY’S FATE WILL DECIDE
IF THE BLOOD OF THE UNBORN IS ON THE HANDS OF YOUR GUIDE.

MANKIND HAS CREATED THEIR OWN HELL ON EARTH
BY ALLOWING THE UNBORN TO BE KILLED BEFORE BIRTH.
THE BLOOD OF ABORTED CHILDREN NOW COVERS THIS LAND;
MUST THERE BE EVEN MORE WITH THE NEXT IN COMMAND?

YOU CONTINUE TO SEARCH FOR A LIFESTYLE OF PLEASURE
DISREGARDING SALVATION WHICH IS YOUR SOUL’S GREATEST TREASURE.
CAN YOU EXPECT GOD THIS COUNTRY, AS HE HAS, TO DEFEND
WHEN YOU CONSTANTLY FAIL FOR YOUR SINS TO AMEND?

I AM GRATEFUL TO THOSE WHO MY MISSION SUPPORT
AND CONTINUE TO BATTLE THE EVIL COHORT.
THOUGH YOUR NUMBERS ARE SMALL, YOU WILL NOT LOSE THE FIGHT
FOR MY SON WILL EMBRACE THOSE WHO HAVE DONE WHAT IS RIGHT.

“THY WILL BE DONE”

On Monday, October 20, 2008, the following warning was posted on World Net Daily:

Documents recovered from a remote area along the Pakistan border have revealed that Osama bin Laden wants al-Qaida to launch a “global fireball” by lighting forest fires in Europe, the United States, Australia and South America.
The documents were uncovered during an operation led by the British intelligence service MI6, and now have been described by experts in that agency as “the most worrying [plot] that the world is facing.”

Hmmmmm...Something to think about? Or are we too concerned with Wall Street to care about fixing the real problem with this country?

Obama's Plan Creates "Waste"

Michelle and Barack Obama's Plan To Fix "Mistakes" Creates over 6 Million Pounds of "Medical Waste" in The USA Every Year

Cindy and John McCain's Plan

Sees A Baby That Needs To Be

Protected and Loved

Make Your Catholic Vote Count!

Moderator's Comment: For all of you Obama supporters who have been calling and writing to object to this post as being "hideous", "insulting to one's senses", and "totally inappropriate to any discussion of Our Lady of America", all we can say is that it is hideous and insulting (especially to the baby) and Our Lady of America wasn't referring to the sanitary conditions of abortion clinics when She put out the call for "purity" from ALL of Her children.

If you haven't gotten it by now, you probably never will.

Heaven help those of you who seek to put your own agenda before God's.

Obama's Top Ten Things To Do List if Elected President

1.
Roe v. Wade would exist for at least another 30 to 40 years by the US Supreme Court appointments he makes. The next president will make at least one, and probably two US Supreme Court appointments. If elected to a second term, he could make as many as six appointments. The average Supreme Court Justice serves 23 years. Because the next two justices that are likely to retire are both pro-abortion, a pro-life president could position the courts to overturn Roe V. Wade in the next few years.
2.
The "Freedom of Choice Act" would override all state laws regarding abortion and eliminate 35 years of laws that have reduced abortions in the USA. Obama co-sponsored the Freedom of Choice Act (S. 1173) and would make passing it one of his "first priorities as president". It would eliminate parental notification laws, 24-hour waiting period for abortions, and education of women about the abortion risks and development of her unborn child. The Freedom of Choice act would require taxpayer funding of abortion and make partial birth abortion legal again.
3.
A pro-choice president would sponsor a bill for elimination of the Hyde Amendment, and thus force all taxpayers to bear the costs of free abortions for the poor. The Hyde Amendment has protected federal taxpayers from being forced to fund abortions through Medicaid.
4.
A pro-choice president would include abortion as a "covered procedure" in any national health care insurance plan making abortions more readily available and forcing taxpayers to fund them.
5.
A pro-choice president would require all medical schools to train doctors to perform abortions and force doctors to perform abortions regardless of their personal moral or religious beliefs or convictions.
6.
A pro-choice president would likely issue an Executive Order (probably on his first day in office as did President Clinton) eliminating the Mexico City policy. The Mexico City policy bars US foreign aid money from being given to organizations or companies that perform or promote abortion overseas.
7.
A pro-choice president would restore funding for UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) which provided millions of dollars of funding for abortions and forced sterilizations in many Third World countries and China.
8.
A pro-choice president would remove the current restriction prohibiting use of US Defense Budget monies on abortions for military personnel.
9.
A pro-choice president would lead the way to the repeal of the ban on partial-birth abortions, where a baby's skull is stabbed with scissors in the birth canal and the brains are sucked out to end its life swiftly and ease passage of the corpse into the pan. Obama co-sponsored S. 1173 making partial birth abortion legal again.
10.
A pro-choice president could overturn the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act. The Born-Alive Infants Protection Act was a law passed by the United States Congress in 2002. It extends legal protection to an infant born alive after a failed attempt at induced abortion. It was signed into law on August 5, 2002 by President Bush.

Bishop reminds Catholics to remember Judgment Day in the voting booth

Bishop Robert J. Herman, the administrator of the Archdiocese of St. Louis, has written a column reminding Catholics that their vote will be a decision weighed on the Day of Judgment. He urged Catholics not to treat the unborn as the neglectful rich man treated Lazarus in the biblical parable.

“Judgment Day is on its way,” the bishop wrote in the St. Louis Review. “We cannot stop it. We don’t know when it will come, but just as surely as the sun rises daily, the Son of Man will come when we least expect.”

“For many, this coming election may very well be judgment day, for this election will measure us,” he continued, referencing Christ’s words of judgment in Matthew 10:32-33:
“Everyone who acknowledges Me before others, I will acknowledge before My heavenly Father. But whoever denies Me before others, I will deny before my heavenly Father.”

Bishop Herman asked the faithful to consider what kind of witness they give to God when they enter the voting booth on Election Day.

“The decision I make in the voting booth will reflect my value system. If I value the good of the economy and my current lifestyle more than I do the right to life itself, then I am in trouble,” the bishop wrote.
He cited Pope John Paul II’s apostolic exhortation Christifideles laici, which said outcry on human rights is “false and illusory” if the right to life is not defended to the maximum.

“The right of our children to be protected from destruction is greater than my right to a thriving economy,” Bishop Herman continued.

My desire for a good economy cannot justify my voting to remove all current restrictions on abortion. My desire to end the war in Iraq cannot justify my voting to remove all current restrictions on abortion.”

Bishop Herman looked to the spiritual dimension as well.
“Those 47 million children our nation destroyed are still living. We have destroyed their bodies, but their souls are still alive. When our Lord comes again, they may very well be there to judge us. Even worse, Jesus tells us that whatever we do to the least of our brethren, we do to Him. We would truly shudder if we heard the words, ‘I was in my mother’s womb but you took my life!’

“It is quite possible that we might see these children, but, depending upon the choices we have made, we may very well be separated from them by a great chasm which cannot be crossed, much as the rich man who ignored Lazarus, the poor man, during his lifetime here on earth but was separated from him after death.”

Bishop Herman said the “deepest problem” with many Catholics is that they have become accustomed to rationalizing away a “life of sinful actions” headed in the wrong direction.

“My goal is not to engage you in some political party way but to engage you with our Savior and His teachings. We need to constantly challenge our accustomed behaviors in the light of the Gospel,” he wrote.
He said the issues of the coming election could help people learn about the teachings of the Catholic Church and to use the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
“When we do this, both we and the heavens will be filled with joy!” he asserted.

“Judgment Day is on its way,” he repeated, encouraging people to pray the family Rosary daily between now and Election Day.
In a previous column for the St. Louis Review, Bishop Herman urged Catholics not to put politics ahead of the Fifth commandment, “Thou shalt not kill.”

“Save our children!” he wrote. “More than anything else, this election is about saving our children or killing our children. This life issue is the overriding issue facing each of us in this coming election. All other issues, including the economy, have to take second place to the issue of life.”

Bar Stool Economics. How To Explain The Benefits of Tax Cuts To A Democrat

I'll type this real slowly so even Obama supporters can understand.

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
So, that's what they decided to do. The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve.

'Since you are all such good customers,' he said, 'I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20.' Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free.

But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?'

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer.

So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.
The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now paid $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 (22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before.

The first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.'I only got a dollar out of the $20,'declared the sixth man. He pointed to the tenth man,' but he got $10!'' Yeah, that's right,' exclaimed the fifth man. 'I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I got' 'That's true!!' shouted the seventh man. 'Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!''Wait a minute,' yelled the first four men in unison. 'We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!'

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!

And that, ladies and gentlemen, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works.

The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore.

In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

Just like the devotion to Our Lady of America:
For those who understand, no explanation is needed.
For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

Help Sought By Group Looking to Create Living Center For Mentally Impaired Adults

A group of Catholic parents are seeking financial support to operate a portion of Sylvan Springs as a vocational training and living center for their mentally-impaired children. The goal is to create a sustainable Catholic-based community where these young adults can grow and thrive amid the faithful pilgrims coming to visit and pray in the chapels as part of their devotion to Our Lady of America.

It is hoped that a number of retired religious will come to live in this community to help in offering Pastoral Care to residents and visitors alike.

If you, or someone you know, is in a position to help this group do something beautiful for Our Lady and Her children, please contact us immediately at 260-854-3525 or by emailing info@oltiv.org

Bishops' Letter Leaves No Room For Obama's "Choice" Platform

Some North Texas Catholics are upset with a letter written to them by their local bishops, saying it amounts to an endorsement of John McCain for president.
"I was personally offended," said Phillip Archer of Dallas. "My bishop basically told me that if I vote for Barack Obama, I will go to hell."
The letter by Bishop Kevin Farrell of the Diocese of Dallas and Bishop Kevin Vann of the Diocese of Fort Worth says in part: "To vote for a candidate who supports the intrinsic evil of abortion or 'abortion rights' when there is a morally acceptable alternative would be to cooperate in the evil – and, therefore, morally impermissible."
Mr. Obama, the Democratic candidate, supports abortion rights. The Republicans' nominee, Mr. McCain, favors overturning Roe vs. Wade, the U.S. Supreme Court decision that protects abortion rights.
The bishops' letter was distributed or read at parishes across the Diocese of Dallas this weekend. The Fort Worth Diocese is distributing the letter through its newspaper, which is being mailed to all registered Catholic families in the diocese.
Nicole LeBlanc said several people at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Dallas walked out during the 11 a.m. Sunday Mass when the letter was read at the time usually reserved for a homily.
Ms. LeBlanc, an Obama supporter, said she, too, was upset.
"As a Catholic, we're taught about being independent moral agents with free will," she said. "That letter from the bishops is basically telling us that if we vote for a candidate who supports abortion rights, we are basically immoral and our souls are imperiled."
Ms. LeBlanc also said she felt the letter "has gone too far towards bringing political endorsements in the church, which is obviously not legal."
She and Mr. Archer, who also attends Holy Trinity, said a protest of the letter is likely to occur outside the headquarters of the Dallas Diocese on Wednesday afternoon.
The bishops declined to comment Monday. By Monday afternoon, the Diocese of Dallas had received 30 comments on the letter, 80 percent of them supportive, said communications director Annette Gonzales Taylor.
"I don't think it's an endorsement or a condemnation of a specific candidate," said Rick Nyman, a Frisco Catholic who applauded the letter. "I think it's a reminder of what church dogma is. If you like it, fine. If you don't like it, that's not so fine, but we love you anyhow."
Ms. Taylor said the letter was not an endorsement of any political candidate but sought to clarify Catholic teachings, particularly a document issued by U.S. bishops called "Forming Consciences for Faithful Citizenship." She said the bishops felt the document was being misunderstood by some in their dioceses.
Ms. LeBlanc said she has studied the document and believes the bishops have drawn from it selectively, emphasizing one approach to combating abortion and leaving out other key issues.
" 'Faithful Citizenship,' to me and a lot of other Catholics, allows us to form our consciences, weighing all those issues, even though we may vote for a candidate that does not favor outlawing abortion," she said.
The bishops' letter evoked criticism from the nonprofit group Americans United for Separation of Church and State.
"This is clearly an attempt on the part of these bishops to do an end-run around the federal tax law ban on electioneering by churches," said the Rev. Barry Lynn, the group's executive director.
But Matthew Wilson, a political science professor at Southern Methodist University and a Catholic, said the bishops are "completely in the clear from a legal standpoint" with the letter and accurately reflect the church's teaching.
"They are choosing to be more proactive about giving political guidance than most bishops so far have been, but there is nothing radical about the theology underlying their message," Dr. Wilson said.
The bishops' letter quotes from "Faithful Citizenship" as it identifies other "intrinsic evils," including same-sex unions, euthanasia and "destructive" human embryonic stem cell research. The letter notes the church's concern with poverty, health care and immigration reform.
But abortion gets the heaviest stress.
"As Catholics, we must treat our political choices with appropriate moral gravity and in doing so, realize our continuing and unavoidable obligation to be a voice for the voiceless unborn, whose destruction by legal abortion is the pre-eminent intrinsic evil of our day," the letter says.

October 13, 2008

Of special interest today is the fact that Our Lady of America, on October 13, 1956, requested that a statue of “Our Lady of America” be enshrined in the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C., as a special place of pilgrimage and a special safeguard for our country.
Devotees of the Our Lady of America apparitions and messages are working and praying to help make this happen. Most recently, a statue of Our Lady of America was placed in the rotunda entrance of the Pope John Paul II Cultural Center in Washington D.C. where visitors are welcome to come and venerate the statue.
There will be volunteers at Sylvan Springs in Rome City today to welcome visitors wishing to pray and learn more about the apparitions and the circumstances surrounding their events.

For Your Discernment

Attention Readers:
Today, I awoke with an ominous feeling about current events and the role of Sylvan Springs in being an obvious refuge and place of hope and prayer.

Immediately after completing my morning rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet, the following message was delivered by email.

It is presented here for your discernment.

Tuesday, September 30, 2008: (St. Jerome)
September 30, 2008
Jesus said: “My people, this water fountain rising up into the air in the vision is keeping the plants all around it lush with green vegetation. This represents My ‘Living Water’ and how I nourish all of My faithful in their spiritual lives with My Host in Holy Communion.

Grace from My sacraments is as necessary for your soul as water is for your bodies because it is your life blood to be united with Me. In today’s first reading from Job you have an example from this prophet of how to have trust in Me even amidst the most dire of circumstances. You can read in the further texts of how he lost family members and nearly all of his possessions. Yet, he remained faithful to Me in spite of this testing. You even remember a saying describing someone as having the ‘patience of Job’. This same kind of trust and patience will soon be demanded of My faithful in the coming tribulation. You will be seeing the trust that you will need in Me to protect you and provide for your needs. Some already are losing value in their stocks and savings with your economic crisis. But all of your possessions will also be stripped as Job had when you will come to My refuges. Just as Job had more possessions restored, My faithful will be rewarded in My Era of Peace, and finally in heaven.

”Jesus said: “My people, when your young people are confirmed, they receive the gifts of the Holy Spirit even as My apostles received the Holy Spirit on the first Pentecost. Your candidates are now old enough to understand that this sacrament is a new commitment to be one of My followers. Some candidates are given training lessons in the faith, and possibly some projects to help those in the parish. This is when you become My soldiers spiritually so you can help evangelize souls in the faith. People quickly forget this calling of Baptism and Confirmation, but it is important to pass on your faith to any unbelievers. Your sponsors should be a faith inspiration for your candidates by being good Christian examples. Parents also need to guide and encourage these candidates in the faith by directing them to a good prayer life, Sunday Mass, and frequent Confession. By providing a good environment for faith to grow, your young people will not wander away from My Church. See Confirmation as another milestone in the faith lives of your young people.”

To All of Our Readers:

Now is the time and Sylvan Springs in Rome City is the place!

OLTIV needs your help to preserve this Holy Ground for the work it has always been intended to do. If you won't listen to us, listen to what Our Lord has already said. Time is of the essence.

We are looking for help from people who do not want to live in fear, but want to live with purpose and give back to God with their whole heart. Contrary to what some negative voices may want you to believe, OLTIV is not interested in profits and never has been. We are concerned with saving souls. We are not affiliated with either "official" group although we have had years of experience with both in promoting this special devotion to Our Lady of America.

One week from today will be the 52nd Anniversary of one of the most important messages of Our Lady of America which was given to Sr. Mildred inside these very walls. It was one of Our Lady's most direct requests to have the National Basilica to The Immaculate Conception completed and to have Her likeness enthroned after solemn procession by Her Bishops.

Our Lady chose this place for good reason to make Herself known to the world. As such, it is HOLY GROUND and needs to be held as such for ALL of Her Children.

All interested parties should contact us immediately at info@oltiv.org .

August 15, 2008 Feast of The Assumption and The Friday Night Rosary

The following photos were taken at approximately 7:45 p.m. on 8/15/08 from in front of Sylvan Springs immediately after completion of the Friday Night Rosary Group's meeting. All of the shots were taken with a 15 second time period.

Those in attendance, gathered from destinations all over the midwest, reported witnessing a remarkable display of the sun spinning and pulsing at this moment which lasted over 1/2 hour.

Notice the image become more defined and the sun's rays change as the series progresses and the image comes to a rest in front of the building.

Optical analysts from a major ocular lab (studies lense effects for industry) have been unable to give any conclusive scientific explanation for what is contained in these photos, or other photos with the same image, that have been submitted to them for analysis.

These photos are being presented here for your own discernment.
