Hope all is well with you, Lynn and your family. Was going to post this on the blog, but wanted to remain anonymous. However, as long as you don't use my name, feel free to use my account.

I felt compelled to tell you about my improvement (health wise). Please share this with Irv too, since I took part in the healing service he led on July 27th.

In the last two weeks, so many people - parishoners, friends, family, even my son's boss have all used the same phrase, "You look like a different person." I got to thinking that if you saw me you too would not recognize me. I tell them all the same thing, "It's because of Rome City (Our Lady of America).

My affect, posture and mobility have gradually and dramatically improved. When I visited the Springs in July, I was hunched over and often looked less than alert. My husband could tell, (better than I could), how alert I was by my eyes, which were often glassy in appearance. Because of this, my kids did not want to be seen with me when in public. And my son said I would say strange things that were off the subject. One friend pointed this out too telling me I had trouble keeping up with the conversation. At Mass, one of the few outings during the week, I would be hunched over with my head down. Now, though I still tire easily, and can't drive due to fatigue, my posture is much better. I sit up straight and am actively engaged in conversation most of the time.

The most dramatic improvement is my mobility! I had to use a walker, and a cane prior to the walker (which I used at my daughter's wedding in 2005). If I had to go any distance even the walker didn't suffice. And my arm strength wasn't good enough to "wheel" myself, so I used a motorized wheelchair. When I visited Rome City, I only brought the walker since you provided a golf cart that my husband drove when we toured the grounds and went to Holy Family Hill. Even with the golf cart, walking up Holy Family Hill was a real challenge. I still can't walk long distances , but the fact that I can walk without an assistive device is such a blessing. Now the motorized wheelchair and walker are gathering dust, and I "forgot" I had the cane until I saw it behind the desk in the corner last week!

Although I still have other health problems but my improved mobility is truly a blessing.

Oil Has Begun Exuding From Walls...Again!

We first reported on this phenomena during Holy Week of 2007 when oil began running down the walls of "the blue room" at Sylvan Springs on Good Friday 2007. This past week, it has begun to flow again and pool into droplets.

The substance is not coming from any cracks or fissures in the walls and aside from the obvious streaks, there does not appear to be any other markings associated with this phenomena. This is the only room in the entire building where this is happening.

It is not just wet. There is a "slickness" to the fluid. Condensation is not an issue because dehumidifiers in the room do not dry it out.

It may only be a coincidence, but we have also had an increase in the number of people reporting physical and spiritual healings after having visited Sylvan Springs and taken the water or blessed themselves with this oil over the past few weeks. For the sake of all who visit, we pray that Our Lady's blessings continue.

Miracle of The Sun Images and Our Lady's Message

We see many miraculous images and receive many personal accounts of mystical experiences here in Rome City, IN.

The following series of photos were taken after the Friday Night Rosary on April 9, 2010.

Take special note as to how the image, in its early form, apears to have the shape of a baby embryo at the top. This image then takes shape in the center of this image as it takes its final and definite shape in front of the Our Lady Mother of Mercy Chapel where the Our Lady of America aparitions and messages all began in 1956.

Is it any coincidence that Our Lady's call to purity was made at the boyhood home of Dr. John Willke, the man who started The National Right to Life and The International Right to Life? Look at the images and decide for yourself.

The Lady Dressed In The Sun?

The following photos were all taken on April 16, 2010 after the completion of the friday Night Rosary at Sylvan Springs in Rome City, Indiana. This is the place where the Our Lady of America apparitions first took place and Our Blessed Mother gave Her messages of purity.

It has been said that when Our Lady comes to reveal Herself, She comes out of the sun and then returns back to it.

Here is the photographic evidence which proves this very fact!






The sun was spinning at the time of these photos and the light coming down upon the visitors had taken on a very unique sort of hue all around them.

When they looked to the sun, they could see Our Lady right there above the cloud as if to say "I am here. Thank you for following My Son."

One of the visitors began to take photos in rapid succession (2-3 seconds apart) and as she did, the figure slowly went higher into the sky and back into sun.

We are so blessed to be able to see these images. We must take notice and understand why we are being these gifts in the first place. It is because Our Lady loves us so much and She wants us to follow Her Son and dedicate our lives to purity so that we can prepare ourselves for our eternal life in heaven.

Please take the time to learn about what it is Our Lady asks of us for the sake of your soul and the souls of all you love. It is that important!

Pope Endorses Turin Shroud

'This is a burial cloth that wrapped the remains of a crucified man in full correspondence with what the Gospels tell us of Jesus,' Benedict said.

TURIN (Italy) - POPE Benedict XVI all but gave an outright endorsement of the authenticity of the Shroud of Turin, calling the cloth that some believe is Christ's burial shroud an icon 'written with the blood' of a crucified man.

During a visit Sunday to the Shroud in the northern Italian city of Turin, Benedict didn't raise the scientific questions that surround the linen and whether it might be a medieval forgery. Instead, he delivered a powerful meditation on the faith that holds that the Shroud is indeed Christ's burial cloth.

'This is a burial cloth that wrapped the remains of a crucified man in full correspondence with what the Gospels tell us of Jesus,' Benedict said. He said the relic - one of the most important in Christianity - should be seen as a photographic document of the 'darkest mystery of faith' - that of Christ's crucifixion and resurrection.

The 4.3-meter-long, 1 meter-wide cloth has gone on public display for the first time since the 2000 Millennium celebrations and a subsequent 2002 restoration. Kept in a bulletproof, climate-controlled case in Turin's cathedral, it has drawn nearly 2 million reservations from pilgrims and tourists eager to spend three to five minutes viewing it. The Shroud bears the figure of a crucified man, complete with blood seeping from his hands and feet, and believers say Christ's image was recorded on the linen's fibers at the time of his resurrection.

Benedict focused in his meditation on the message that the blood stains conveyed, saying the Shroud was 'an icon written in blood; the blood of a man who was whipped, crowned with thorns, crucified and injured on his right side. 'The image on the Shroud is that of a dead man, but the blood speaks of his life. Each trace of blood speaks of love and life,' Benedict said.

The Vatican to date had tiptoed around the issue of just what the Shroud of Turin is, calling it a powerful symbol of Christ's suffering while making no claim to its authenticity. Benedict's meditation - delivered after he prayed as if in a trance before the shroud - appeared to imply that in the end it doesn't matter what science says about its authenticity.
